Dear friends, colleagues, patients and others in our human community –

I do hope this letter finds you very well amidst our ongoing turmoil. It is true that the threat of this viral invader is very real, and we must take significant action to protect all members of our society. This being the case, please remember that the combined intelligence, ingenuity and integrity of the human spirit is far superior to that of any foreign contagion. We will get through this together, especially if we cooperate in careful consideration, thoughtful communication, and diligent action.

As we resume prosthodontic care, we will do so cautiously, responsibly and with limitations. Please understand and know that this practice intends to meet or exceed all guidelines set forth by the CDC, the Florida Department of Health, and the Governor’s Office to control the spread of this virus, particularly as it may pertain to the delivery of dental care. Our exact and thorough protocols are available in a separate document available upon request. Please know that these procedures are being evaluated and updated as conditions change and new knowledge becomes available to provide the safest environment possible. In response, we also now offer video teledentistry consultation, which may help significantly with patient questions and confidence.

In closing, please know that we take this pandemic, as well as the responsibility to provide safe and exceptional dental care, very seriously. With that understanding, it is also known to medical science that happy patients, or those in a better emotional state, are more resistant to illness and respond better to therapy. Please take care of yourself both physically and mentally. We wish you peace and all our best.

With Sincerity,

C. Scott Schmitt, DMD MS

Comforts and Technology

Going to the dentist doesn’t have to be scary or uncomfortable. Our dental office strives to serve you the absolute best treatments, in a relaxing, enriching environment. While you pursue your best oral health, whether it is through a restoration for Orlando area implant dentistry, you can be comfortable. We would like you to unwind with relaxing music through headphones, settle into our thermal neck pillows and refresh yourself with our hot face towels. You will find our ambiance unhurried and pleasant, while our highly qualified team truly cares for your welfare.

Advanced technology has had an amazing impact on dental treatment in recent years. In our office, we appropriately embrace these advances. We thoughtfully evaluate each as to its true benefit for our patients. Just because something is new and advertised does not mean it gives the best product. Technology is wonderful, but our main focus is the best end result for you, our patient. Dr. Schmitt believes in the skilled integration of technology with the highly trained human hand. Dentistry and dental technology are truly an art and a science!
